| Looking at that list it seems the only thing I've missed out on is the tanks. The first models I did at school were aircraft kits (by Veron & Keil Kraft I think) - a Mosquito comes to mind amongst others. These were lovingly sanded pre-shaped blocks of balsa. I recall the best bit was the sealing and doping! Substance abuse was unheard of in the early '50s! And then someone appeared with a new-fangled plastic kit in a bag. That caused a sensation. Moved onto doing development work for Scalex on their early tin-plate Maseratis and Ferraris shortly after their first Scalextric sets came out.
Nowadays it's all boats - mainly subs. Though I think there's still a couple of Williams F1 cars in the loft. Might dig those out now that the garage is getting cold at night.
