OK then if you want to see something pretty amazing have a look at the pictures below. The first two I took from the top of the ship, the early morning one was the best as the sun had only just risen.

The last one is unfortunately the one that broke up on re-entry. I didn't actually take the picture but I watched it from the top of the local fire training school.

There is quite a few seconds delay in seeing the plume of smoke and the flash of the flame before the roar of the engines rolls across the landscape. On a clear day you can actually see the booster rockets seperate as the trail forms three distinctly different paths.
