*** Great to see that you are enjoying yourself again Mark with your helicopter, just purchased one of those little Twister Bell 47G machines, talk about miniaturisation you can take off from the bonnet of your car no bother, once mastered it flys around nicely and you stick the nose down and she climbs away into the blue,Lithiam iron batteries have brought a whole new range of lightweight designs forward and providing you observe the important charging rules then there is no bother. It is surprising as you say how you soon get back into the feel of flying again after a lapse, sometimes it is good to have a break anyway and like a lot of things you return refreshed and ready for the next stage,do you remember your first nervous circuit with the helicopter ? after all of the hovering and safe positioning its a figure of eight across the sky,you never forget it do you ? they certainly have a lot to offer in a restricted space,I bet the beach is ideal providing that you watch the sand.
Those plugs would be the best selling Enya No.3,a really tough plug for winter operations, the secret with longevity on any glo plug is to slowly shut down the motor after landing, just wind it down until the rotor stops, this way the plug cools with no sudden jolts, applies to any aeroplane or car as well.

I went back next day with one of mine, first time out in ages with one of my helis but after a couple of mins just getting the feel again I was away and thoroughly enjoying myself.
It's amazing how much you realise you miss the enjoyment when you haven't flown for a while, I have only missed it due to a house move and doing other projects including my nephews car but soooooooo nice to get back into flying again. I was there for hours stirring the sticks, Hovering and doing full circuits and really enjoying myself.
Ok so it has gone cold now but I have the Hot Plugs in and will be making the most of any chance to go flying now.
P.s.. I am using Enya Plugs .....these are excellent and seem to last longer than any of the other plugs I have tried...both cars belonging to my nephew are on these too........very reliable.
