You also have to add the price of the controller to you figure, you could quite easily get that car or at least something similar for about £250 to £300, and as with a lot of DeAgostini stuff people tend to start running in to problems like missing issues etc..

The first r/c buggy I built was a Tamiya Super Fighter G kit and I found to instructions very easy to follow, that was an electric one and cost me about £130'ish if I remember right.

And I'm sure if you run in to problems there are plenty people here that will help you.
