Only a thought but I have always seen the captions and the quizzes as complementing the forum and generating a more general interest. I think it is all part of the friendly atmosphere that members seem to enjoy.
I understand where you are coming from by creating a new forum but I don’t think there would be enough content to support a forum on its own and I think Scale-Models will loose out. Scale modeling on its own might end up a bit dry without any additional interest and humour.
