*** Yes,good point those silly little pots of paint,it would have been better to have at least included a tinlet of white to do the job properly but even that is a poor choice to do the job,my suggestion is to use Holts white primer first, followed with a coat of Holts Appliance white, the model then gleams as a full sized Concorde does, the decals are a nightmare best tackled in easy stages, any long decals can be soaked first in tepid water, then carefully slide a portion so that it just overlaps the backing paper, place your finger onto the end and pull the backing away patting down with a lint free cloth, attempt to apply them by soaking off and they merely curl around themselves, virtually impossible to do anything about,Airfix decals are just too thin especially for juniors to handle, needless to say a thin coat of Johnsons Klear/Future ensures that they stay in place,so far I have built three Airfix Concordes, one finished up in an air museum cabinet, the two others were sold to people who could not build for the price of the kit to help them out,so I am fed up building it in the present form with all the extra work filling etc !
