hi guys, just thought I would let you in on a few tinkerings with my tank.
Some of you will already know that before xmas I ordered a Hen Long Tiger 1 (H-F Trade, dont go near them). The company that sold me it were in Germany and thoroughly ripped me off. The transmitter for this tank was never going to work as solder was all over the place on the mobo. But all is not lost!
Possibly the only remotely good thing about Hen Longs is the smoke unit. After metering its voltage and current draw it became apparent that it will run off the 7.2v pack in the Tam Tiger 1 and 2. I then plugged it in and what do ya know....It works!!!!! My king Tigger now has exhaust smoke!!. Also the led's that are used for the machine gun are the same as the Tam only clear instead of orange. Now all I need to do is drill out the exhausts.
