| I have checked with Alphagraphics (a print shop directly opposite where i work, they also have our work account.) They can scan upto A0 for £2.00 a go and load onto any rewritable media. I think an online downloadable database is the best idea. Then we can print off our own or download to usb storage and nip to the print shop, avoiding all the postage and the possible losing in the post that may occur. I reckon we need to find out who has what as far as plans go, then find out who is willing to do the real hard work of spending the hours scanning at the print shop. I would imagine donations will be necessary to cover the cost. I more than willing to put my hand in my pocket for this. If others want to see this project through, someone needs to take charge. It will be more than worth it in the end. I have not come across any other modelling websites that have such an online database. |
