| You can start right now Richard or as soon as you get your kit,all I have done on mine is to open the box and take a look,remember folks this is not a competition,it is simply a group build whereby we can learn about modelling as we go along,the idea is to just enjoy a leisurely build and at the end see how everyone has got on,there are no tiresome rules just build a 1=48th scale Spitfire at your pace,you decide how far that you want to go with any detail or paint finish,you have plenty of time so enjoy the build.
It would be nice if we can encourage people to place some pictures of their models here as you go along,that way we can see how everyone is progressing.
