Not personally but I know a man who has had experience. If you look in the boats section of the gallery and find the Robbe U-47 kit with the Accurate Armour tower and guns.
I am reliably informed that it is a very nice kit and considerably more accurate than the original. There again there isn't a great deal of competition from the original!
The end result looks very good to me but I have to admit it is very expensive. |
