Virus attack

no, not avian influenza hitting our lands..my computer.

I accidently pressed the "yes" button on a stupid automatic download prompt and it hastely put a "trojon" on my system.

which then proceded to (once detected) infect my spyware prgram and load a heck of alot of spyware and addware onto my system, infected key system files which made my virus detector delete them. My computer whent from super-fast, to not being able to do much at all in the space of a night!

Luckely the first thing it infected was my network card driver so they got deleted, meaning no internet, meaning no information about me or my computer (passwords...etc) could be sent out.

it just really annoys me that people dont just do this to obtain information and access to accounts, they do it for a laugh!!!

Tonight i have had to format my computer and re-install windows, now i cant find my driver cd so i am having to use my partents computer for the internet. the most annoying thing being i had 3 years of college work, pictures of me and my girlfriend, friends, family and lots of other important and sentimental documents!...all gone due to some spotty 15 year old little computer hackers laugh on a thursday night!

ARGHHHH!!!!
