Yes it will not win any awards for looks Dunc, but that material has an amazing resiliance like nothing else around,I think the design could be cleaned up a lot to get rid of the boxiness,my foamboard De Havilland Dragon is elsewhere here and I intend to do another model of home brew this winter with this material.
I was experimenting today seeing how it can be made to curve,tried bending a piece over wooden strips and provided that you make an impession with a hard leaded pencil it gives nicely at that point,secret is balsa spars glued onto a panel,some guide ribs say one at the root and tip,then bendo ! tack glue and tape up.
