Hi Richard and Nigel - Yep I was a bit lucky there - trouble was there was no weed on the surface - it was all underwater (still growing) and as I'm the only submarine driver in the club I'm the one who finds it first. We do treat the pond twice yearly but we top up our pond from the dockside canal so we easily introduce more weed as the weeks go on. - trouble is I'm cutting the weed on the bottom and it's then floating to the top - (this means it's affecting surface members so I might be asked to leave the club.
