You're not wrong!
I was burned so bad I closed my account. I had no bad feedback and heaps of credits with them as a seller and buyer about a year ago. I was browsing late one night for an mp3 player for my sick mumin hospital and saw an auction about to close at a very low price. I had a quick look at the ad and saw it was a fairly big shop add, so it must be OK or sleezbay wouldn'y allow it to exist. I bid a few bucks and won only to find that the 'insurance' and postage was around $90!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a con. He aparently does that regularly to trick people. Tiny sale prices with no reserve and an enormous postage. I had about 9 or 10 emails to and from ebay's complaints dept and the end result was that they don't set a fee for postage and leave it up to the seller. "You must read the entire add!!!' (they didn't give a stuff)
If this guys (klugshop I think it was) customers read it, they'd never buy from him. Ebay refused to even reprimand him and wouldn't allow me to cancell the deal, si I decided to cancell my account without buying his rip off item.
Be warned, ebay sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope they do go broke.
My 2c worth.
