| Scanner help please. At long last,I have managed to get hold of a really nice scanner that will scan all of my old slides that have not seen the light of day for years,it is one of those that has a light slot at the top of the device as well as from underneath,it will happily scan slides at 600 dpi with excellent results, likewise prints as well, but when it comes to scanning black & white negatives I am having a problem, despite trying different settings all that I get is a red image of the scan, can anyone please pinpoint the problem for me ? could this be something to do with the colour settings and if so is there anything that I can do about it ? there is a facility for negative/colour,but not black & white,so could this be the problem ?
I need to get this sorted as it is an expensive business getting prints done these days from b & w negs.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems ?
Thank you.
