| Barry PSP is a pain for twain aquires, thats why we all use photoshop :-)
You might find that you exporting the files in RGB colour when really you only need monocromatic or CMYK. Check you have the latest drivers for the scanner as always and bin bundled software, its always pretty naff without exception.
As for "supporting negs or slides" im assuming your looking for an option as such. What you need to do is on the aquire menu or in the driver setup select the source a bit like selecting either envelopes or A4 on your printer.
If the "Red Image" your getting has correct contrast levels, gammut and tones etc all you need to do is adjust it to "grayscale". Richard will have to give you psp directions as i only really use photoshop. |
