Dual Action Airbrush

Reading the airbrushing tutorials and attending a practical demo at our Club really awakened my interest in the technique.
However my simple single action airbrushes didn't cope too well with small detail especially associated with weathering.
When buying some other stuff (lathe chucks and the like) I came across a 'low cost' double action airbrush sold by Machine Mart (£24) and, to be honest, I couldn't resist.

Turns out to have been a good buy and performs really well on thinned enamels and also on acrylics thinned with cellulose.
Unfortunately it only comes in the 'fine' version which means that boat hulls and so on have to be done with the single action.
Worth a look if you baulk at the high prices for most of the other dual actions.

If you want to see it - try this URL :

I run it off a compressor so am not bothered about the price of canned puff and it goes great. All I need now is more practice - hopefully tending towards perfection !!
