| Thanks both for your comments - the card in the HP is an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 and the hard drive is 40 GB. I use a desk top computer as well so I'm really only looking for a laptop for emailing and a bit of web surfing - that's why I'm not looking for a really expensive model - any serious computing stuff will be done on my desktop, plus the fact that the way technology is going nowadays I fully expect to have to dump the laptop in the bin after a couple of years. I no longer believe that a computer will last forever by just upgrading things - it seems to be easier to change the whole caboodle. It doesn't seem five minutes ago since I bought my Packard Bell Pentium which was then state of the art 800 processor - whew.. look at them now, I'm going to have to change my desktop too in the near future but that's another story......... thanks again Guys,
