Howdy Guys,
I just finished reading the post by wonwinglo about the airship shed at Cardington. Ralph Currell offers a 1:700 scale (over 15 inches long) airship shed modeled after the shed at Cardington for free at:
http://www.currell.net/models/mod_free.htm . He also offers 3 Airshipss, The R 100, the R 101 and the Vickers Trans Oceanic Airship. All at 1:700 scale.
There is also a free model of an airship mooring mast for these model airships.
You can also find a 1:144 scale (about 17" long) model of the Concorde supersonic jet.
All are free downloads.
I have built the R 100 myself and it is a nice model.
Now the Vickers Airship in the photo above was enlarged before printing and as with all paper/card models, thats an option you have, you can make the model as large or as small as you want it, scaling it up or down.
Have a good day,
Greg aka GW
