3) Deltic is a deisel engine configuration which has three crankshafts and six pistons arranged in three opposing cylinders per unit.

Used in railway engines and MTB's during the war. The MTB versions were made in all aluminium so that the whole craft gave a very poor radar signature.

4) Are we talking movie specifically or Television as well? The earliest one I can think of could be the Angel Interceptor from Captain Scarlet which was originally released in '68. Movie ones would include the Star Wars models released in '82-'85

10) I know of the Merlin and the Griffon but there may have been the odd experimental one as well.
