Exclamation stripe width

EDIT: This is a repeat of a posting in the tips section, it didnt show up on the main screen and I thought something was wrong. But apparently "tips" do not appear on main page when posted.

Howdy Guys,

This is a tip I have used for yrs and yrs and yrs.....you get the idea.
Anyway, when building large model aircraft like a 1:72 P3 Orion or RC models that need long thin stripes, instead of masking off each side of the stripe to make it a uniform width, and then painting, I use automotive pinstriping which can be found at any automotive parts store for about $2.00.
Use it just like you would on a car or truck. It bends well although for 90º angles it needs to be cut off with an exacto knife and then make the 90º turn.
One roll of this striping is long enough to do two sides of a full size car so you can see that it will last for many models.
Anyway, I just thought I would share this little trick, see the photo below for example.

Have a good day,

Greg aka GW
