| Howdy guys,
first, thanks for the input. Now as for the A4 vs "regular 8½" x 11½" paper....when you open a .pdf file, and are ready to print the page(s), first click "file" at top left corner of screen and then go to "page set up" select the paper size that you will be using and click "ok". Then, click "file" again and go to "print". Here, about half way down you will see an option called "paper scaling". click the "dropdown" arrow and select "FIT TO PAPER". This will allow you to print the model onto whatever size paper you may be using. It may decrease the actual model scale a small bit, but not too much as to be really noticible. In the preview section on the Print box, you will see a thumbnail of the current page you are viewing, Down below that thumbnail, you will see something like "zoom 89%" or "90%" etc. Do not worry about this percentage, the computer has computed the best possible size to fit the paper you have chosen. Now you are ready to click "ok" and start printing. Now I realize that in the UK and Europe, ya'll use A4 paper....personally I have never seen A4 paper, but I am guessing it is abit smaller than our standard 8½" x 11½" paper...all I can say is "you know us Americans, we gotta have everything "Supersized" lol. If you have anymore printing questions please feel free to ask. I will be working on a Henschel HS 124 A1 Biplane (plastic) all day until I finish it and will be taking frequent breaks to come on line. Have a good day, Greg |
