Iain,the very hot weather is playing havoc with these iron on covering materials,my models look the same with wrinkles etc,if you have one of hose heat ype guns then a quick blast over the surfaces will restore the tightness.
The slight dampness on the wood is nothing to worry about,my biggest problem is mice making their nests in fuselages etc and they enjoy chewing electrical wiring as well which is serious,you should see the mess that they make of foam ! so always check over any model that has been stored in a shed for seasonal damage,give the model a good once over before flight as you should do after any lay up.
