Nice Model Iain,

I too had to reshrink the solarfilm on my plane recently after digging it out of the loft but that is easy work and is all done now.
If the Araldite is the 24 hr stuff best leave it to cure for that period and certainly a bit longer before attempting to use the plane just to ensure everything is set rock solid.

What plane is it, I know it's a trainer but which one..??? I thought it looked a bit like the Mick Reeves Hawk but the nose end is different.

If the box says a .45 is suitable for your plane then use the one you have. The box should give an engine range so check that to see what it says as you may be able to use the .40 as well. If the minimum engine size is a .25 2 stroke then you could get away with using the OS 4 Stroke, if the minimum engine size is higher than a .25 you may struggle with the 4 Stroke as it will be underpowered.

Hope that hasn't confused you.

Regards......Mark
