| Guy,did you know that those awful bulky Tamiya connectors consume a good 1 volt of power quickly,the pins have a nasty habit of pushing backwards,you think there is an electrical connection but it is just touching the very end.
Next model strip them off including the charger,get some gold connectors,nice and slim and polarity protected with a male and female half,they do not tarnish and are excellent conductors.
Sorry to hear about the crash but you are not a flyboy without having one ! it hurts at first but when you have had a score of them you just go back and build something else to fill the void.
Dont forget also that a man of your skill could always use the bits to build something else for yourself.
