| you are right barry, i hate the tamiya type connectors, i use the same connectors we use at work on my boats, my subs, made by a company called elco, gold terminals that fit and remain fitted !- and the terminal housings come in 2 way, 3 way, 4 way and 6 way and all are polarity protected, the plugs and sockets cannot be connected the wrong way round......
as my cheap eleccy trainer has a pre wired motor and ESC i was just being lazy- and did not change them.....oh well you live and learn !
