Thanks Baz..if there is such a thing i try to keep my scenes.as "tasteful" as possible..no gore..although I have a few ideas cooking..including viscera etc.
not to shock or disgust..but to try to depict the stark reality of armed combat..if this means that in the corner of one of my scenes there is a british para stuffing his guts back into his abdomen.. or a russian guardsman standing over an enemy machine gunner.entrenching tool in hand.mouth agape.white faced..the gunner at his feet.with a gaping headwound..so be it..but these bits of lets call them...focal points...in my scenes are rarely the main subject..take my "river bend" diorama...there are walking wounded. and a little blood..but no corpses or gore...i had toyed with the idea of one or two floaters in the water..but decided the scene had enough impact..i was striving for tension and a little anticipation. leaving it to the viewer to determine what might happen next...hey im starting to ramble..get me on a soapbox and i cant shutup.......
