Don't get misled by the box art. They are quite often not accurate colours and whilst giving a good overall impression of the vehicle they are a shiny glossy surface which does not necessarily show a flat matt finish particularly well. They also depict highlighted areas which are shown as lighter colours and can mislead.

Your best bet is always try to get hold of third party literature such as profiles publications for the most accurate colour guides and follow the model instructions, although these are not always perfect either.
