Hi Peter,

Hope you have a lot of fun with your car, I personally haven't tried or seen stock car racing but it certainly sounds like a lot of fun and I am sure you will soon get to grips with it.
You will have to get some pics of the meets when you next go and post them on here for us to share.

I tried my first offroader a couple of days ago, met a guy with 3 of them all out running and he let me drive one, it was a Tmaxx with no brakes on it but a whole lot of fun...the other 2 were Traxxas and they flew !!!

Buying the 2nd hand car is a good move, so long as you know a little about the cars to set them up etc....when you really get into the racing then move onto something a bit newer....and maybe faster. Either way I am sure you will enjoy it and have a lot of fun
