I have finally completed work on the pressure hull. As you can see I haven't yet installed the oring seal for the main lid (I'll do it at end to avoid damaging it when installing other components) and have not built the pericope mechanism (the lid show is a scap one, my main one is still in its protectective coverings). I chose to install the mountings for the main drive motors and front dive plane retract gearbox before permanantly gluing in the pressure hull. It is easier to make sure everything lines up right if you do this after bonding the pressure hull as the instructions suggest, but it makes installing the mounts for the gearboxes in the end bulkhead more difficult.
I am going to have to build a jig before I bond in pressure hull to the lower hull. Not only does the top of the pressure hull need to an exact measurement from the bottom throughout its length, the hull side need to be pulled in just enough to form a nice seam with the top hull when bonded with the pressure hull.
