| Alan,I have never heard about the cut out swastikas ? but encountered a similar thing when visiting German some years ago when visiting a toy shop,I purchased some tiny decal sheets,it was only when I got home to England that I realised that someone had scribed out heavily with a ball point pen the tiny swastikas on the sheet,it looked as if it had been done with some vengeance.
Certainly the decal sheets from Airfix that are in my collection are sans the swastika,so it is possible that this was an emergency measure having printed out those decals beforehand,or it is possible that the kits were earmarked for a sensitive area of the world.
