i doubt i will find a frame for this size. I have just custom made the base to allow for the size of the aircraft. I am going to have to think of another way to make the base a bit more attractive.

but yes you are right...odd is more pleasing to the eye than even! something we use a lot in cooking. try putting 6 bits of tomato/cucumber..whatever and putting them evenly around a plate. then take one away and make them evenly spaced again.

see which looks better!

no idea why it is...just the way our brain works for some strange reason!

possibly by just putting the aircraft on the base at an angle and having the ropes going with the aircraft and not the slabs will give this effect!

when you think about it....when has an plane been lined up with the concrete slabs at airshows?
