| Sorry to have to advise everyone who has expressed interest in attending the event scheduled for Sunday 17th September - but we are having to postpone this. You will be aware that we had hoped to run it on the Union Canal at the Lochrin Basin venue but the volume of narrowboat traffic and the width of the canal at this point would provide insurmountable difficulties.
It is our hope to re-schedule the event for later depending on the length of time it takes to re-fill Inverleith. Water has started to flow back in to help establish the new reed beds but we suspect it could be well into October before the pond itself has sufficient water for sailing.
In the meantime our normal Sunday 'free sailing' sessions will continue at Lochrin.
