The best ones to get are Daryl Turners spring idler system you can email him here- modelbuilder2k@cs.com
the idlers upgrade is a an absolute essential, If you get your Tiger on rough terrain it will throw a track in 30 seconds without them.
He doesnt have a shop and makes them up himself, there are pics of the system fitted to one of mine in the tanks forum here - http://www.scale-models.co.uk/showth...?t=2470&page=3. Also you might like to think about upgrading the gearboxs. The metal tracks add a serious amount of weight and the tank will now have difficulty with any incline more than 40 degrees (smooth) and 30 degrees (rough terrain). There are many other problems that raise their heads dependant on where you run your Tiger. Other strain points are the drive shaft barings, to prevent excessive ware after market brass support add ons are available from many webdealers (check out US dealers first as the dollar is real good at the moment).
Thats a fine lookin Tiger ya got there. |
thanks that is very useful info I will email Daryl later today
are there any web sites you would recommend and as for the use it is a tank and is ment to handle the rough lol
