Richard,I think that model engineers are amazing people,we had a chap visit Parkside at Rolls Royce some years ago,he demonstrated a working model of a Merlin Engine ! it was simply a outstanding piece of model engineering.

The whole world of model engineering is another subject in itself which contains many fascinating items of machinery. I have a four cylinder opposed piston engine at home, made from plans given in a magazine in the early sixties. Sometimes I just plug an airline in to enjoy watching it go around!!
