| Hello Shadowmaker,your engine has all the signs of being over-rich,Glo engines do run a bit smoky due to the castor oil content,once the engine is leaned out ( via the needle valve ) then it should run properly,however you could have a blockage in your needle valve assebly,to clear this remove the feed pipe and place a piece of fuel tube onto the end,then remove the feed from the tank,next blow through the pie to clear any obstruction,glow fuel can settle and cause tiny molecules,the castor bean has fibres,especially as our fuel is a second and even third pressing of the bean itself.
So obstruction will not help and give the impression that your engine is struggling,so clear that first,then set up the needle by aprox 2-3 turns out to start,then slowly move the needle inwards again,that should sort the problem.
