| I also have AVG and have used it for years. I sometimes still find that it "misses" the odd one here and there BUT nothing as yet that has done any damage. I also use "spybot (search & destroy)" its also free and goes where AVG dont or cant. Spybot even killed off that "dragon worn thing" from several years ago. Anyways we all have what we think is best but I swear by AVG & SPYBOT 2 of the best free ones out there.
