thankfully this appears not to be the case
i like the look of the perkasas' and eventually intend buying a GRP hulled one to use with electrics (more opportunities to sail it) although if I were to restrict my self to the Duthie Park model yacht pond, the use of i.c is still perfectly acceptable there. Have you looked at the Anglai Model Centres' web page as they are the people who make the kits.
