Euan,when you get that wing joint problem again like this then try this neat dodge,get some medium cyno and some baking powder,join the wing with the cyno and sprinkle baking powder onto the joint,there will be a bit of smoke and a puff,dont worry it is just the cyno gassing against the powder,once dry you will have the toughest gap-filling joint you have ever built.
You can place masking tape either side of the joint before you glue the wings on,then sand between the tape if you are careful.
Sand down with medium grit wet and dry and finish off with Squadron green filler to blend in the joint.
She looks great and coming along well.
