Today at the club, we saw the newest sub, an Akula from a sheerline kit, doing it’s stuff. Here’s a short video of it.

The proud owner didn’t fully dive it due to mud fear. Can’t say I blame him. He hasn’t got a pinger in it and really doesn’t want to lose it just yet. Our Navy Day is next week and we’re all bringing our subs for a run and display. I’m still in the process of organising the Scope pool run too. One of the pools canvassed has agreed to bring it up at their next meeting atleast, so there’s hope. If it goes ahead, I’ll get heaps of video and pics for here.
