Very interesting project Thomas. The issue of gas pressure drop due to evaporation cooling of the liquid gas is an age old one and there have been a number of ideas to counteract it.

I know a fellow boater at my club who has put his gas tank in the same small insulated compartment as his exhaust separator so the heat transfers across. I have used a physical copper strap between my exhaust separator and gas tank and I raise initial steam pressure from an outside tank but I don't know yet how successfull the strap set up will be until I try it. It is definately something that requires some thought and means of addressing otherwise it will adversely affect the performance of your model and reduce it's duration, especially in Winter.
