This is very simple to do:

Just measure from the centre of the wheelnut on the front wheel on one side to the centre of the wheelnut on the rear wheel on same side and that will give you the wheel base length.

Most modern cars are in the 250-260mm wheel base range (so the bodyshells are made to fit that size) although some of the older ones will be 280mm (The last 3 cars I did were all older 280mm wheel base length as in pics below) The Skyline and the Honda NSX are both Kyosho Cars, The Subaru is a Thunder Tiger.

Thanks for the replys guys, Ive measured the wheelbase and its 270mm, Ive also measured the shell and from the top of the wheel arch side to side is 250mm, so if I get a 200mm shell its not going to sit right then if thats how they are measured, Im after a shell which sits like the one I already have, arch over the wheels,

Im looking for a subaru or evo shell like this one,
