I would have agree but unfortunately the museum that housed the U-boat (534 I think!) closed down early last year. I was lucky enought to go round everything before they closed the doors. There was the u-boat, HMS Bronnington, a Falklands Frigate Plymouth I think, and a Falklands British Sub, HMS Onyx.

Why we can't support maintaining our heritage with things such as this is completely beyond me and what the ultimate destiny of the U-boat is I have no idea. Suffice to say I think it is a disgrace that we don't protect our history to help the youth of today understand where they came from and what conflicts have shaped our modern day country.
