I am new to this very interesting site. I am a retired commercial bush pilot and got interested in Mignet aircraft some 12 years ago. I did several months of research and started building a fuul size modified HM293. I found the aircraft was a very interest challenge to build but there was very little flight etsting data. The Flea has a very narrow centre of gravity range and it is extremely difficult to get into the safe range with the full size version as the aircraft was only designed for a 150lb pilot. The Flea with an aft CG will surly spin.
I have since gone on to do a lot more reserach with a collegue in the US aerospace industry. I have a website set up with an attached forum for builders and interested people. The Forum has many rare pictures and movie clips plus a lot of technical data that you will nevr find any were else.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/rjg/ In test flying the aeroplane I found it to be a complete new approach to flying. The aeroplane has great potentional and the model community can play a great part in its development. I also have a room full of data on the fleas. Many plan sets DVD and construction photos, stress figures and even origioanl vintage film footage from the 30,s. Anyone interested in origional drawings, DVD or photos do get in touch as I would be happy to help model builders out
thanks. PS attached is a picture of ZK-FLE
