| If you go to one of the model engineering exhibitions, such as Harrogate, you will be staggerred at the work involved in putting together some of the exhibits.
Home made liquid fuel engines, gas engines, hot air engines, steam engines, steam trains, traction engines and all sorts of weird and wonderfull devices all made at home with various standards of machine tools. I could just enjoy looking at them for hours.
There is even a huge Tiger 1 made entirely out of metal that is there every year and one of our own club members has made a landing craft entirely from brass.
There is certainly a wealth of subjects that can also be of interest to scale modelling of all types.
