Hi Chris
Some of the boiler plate I had from another boiler, The boiler tube came from Crawley metal supplys and is traceable back to the foundry its 6 inch OD 5 gauge 26.5 inches long (bit over for machining). I think the boiler plate came from Macc Model Engineers Suppies LTD
I buy a lot of odds and ends from them as the prices are always good again it would be traceable if i could find the papper work. they also sell CI in inch longs at prices that are very good. I have no connection with them past fiding them easy to deal with.
My rods and welding supplys all come from Crawley welding, the owners a miserable git but knows his stuff. Im lucky i suppose in that I have an old oil filled 300 amp oxford arc welder. it takes me and my oppo to ge it out of the store room but theres not much it wont weld on a good day. The Mig is an old BOC unit i think rated at about 160 amps.
