| The old Design and Technology I used to work at had some great lathe accessories it was good too because none of the staff knew how much any of the equipment was worth so you could offer peanuts to dispose of the stuff!
Anything worth having was kept locked away behind a very tattered looking flush door which was covered in holes from where the kids had attacked it with hammers!
New heads of dept would skip piles of equipment as they more frequently used materials like corriflute, hot glue guns and cordless screwdrivers for the kids work.
"Sadly" I don't work there anymore! You can still find a fair amount of ex D&T dept school stuff on places like ebay though for often pretty reasonable prices.
