I may take up knitting......

.......except I probably can't paint wool properly either!
Anyhoo, I tissue covered the wing of my Corsair, applied 2 coats of thinned dope and all looked well ‘till I sprayed on a couple of coats of Tamiya paint, (for plastics-my model shop said this would be fine), but I wasn’t happy with the result, gaps and light showing through and all that, so I brushed on a coat of flat black enamel and didn’t like that either so I then sprayed on a coat of plasti-kote gloss black. This looks promising but can still see daylight, (I’ve only done the topside so far), might eliminate this when I do the underside, if not I’ll try brushing on a coat of acrylic enamel. By now I guess my ‘model’ wing weighs more than the real thing and I’m worried about dropping it on my foot and being layed up for a month!
I’ve trawled through all the tutorials but can’t figure what I’m doing wrong and am running out of paint related options as well as gassing myself with the fumes.
If I had a dog I’d shoot it out of sheer frustration, (anyone got a cheap dog for sale?).
Pleas help,
Steve.

Ps. I wonder if Salvidor Dali would just look at the whole mess and declare “Finito, ees perfect!!!”
