Hello Pat,the colour of the Avro Avian Monoplane G-AAYW was light pea green overall with white registration letters, the aircraft is believed to have been camouflaged when used by the ATA at Elmdon after being impressed ?
the aircraft was presented to the Air Training Corps and eventually unceremounsly burnt and pushed into a lake where she resides to this very day underground.
There are a few pictures extant but non in colour, only a handful of the monoplane version were built.
