| Hi Gaz. I've had a few tries with different seats/dashboards etc, try mixing matt and satin (semi-gloss) varnishes together in different proportions to see if that helps. I managed a pretty decent leather finish a while back but I cant remember how much of each I used and it altered the colour of the base paint a tad... may be worth a shot though!
